  • How long are my sessions?

    • Sessions run for approximately 50 minutes.

    What do I have to commit to?

    • The length of treatment or consultancy will depend on your individual needs and goals.

    How frequently can I see Brittany?

    • Please note that Brittany’s availability may vary during the year due to her professional commitments, and there may be certain weeks when she is unavailable.

  • How much are sessions?

    • All sessions are priced at $255.00  (+GST for clinician consultation)​​

    Can I get a rebate through Medicare?

    • Medicare rebates are available to those eligible holders (see Medicare tab for more information)

    Can I get a rebate through my Private Health insurance?

    • Private Health rebates are available to those eligible holders.

    • Please note that the amount of your rebate is determined by your service provider.

  • How much do I get back?

    • The current Medicare rebate for sessions with a General Psychologist is $98.95 per session.

    • We will submit your claim on your behalf.

    How do I access the rebate?

    • A Referral and Mental Health Care Plan prepared by your GP or psychiatrist is required prior to commencing services.

    What is the Medicare Safety Net (MSN)?

    • The MSN is additional financial support provided by Medicare to further reduce out-of-pocket expenses once the annual threshold has been reached. Further information regarding the Medicare Safety Net can be accessed here.

    What kind of plan do I need?

    • There are many different types of Mental Health Care Plans

    • Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP): Up to 10 sessions (initial referral for 6 sessions, then a GP review for an additional 4).

    • Eating Disorders Plan (EDP): Up to 40 sessions (initial referral for 10 sessions, then a GP review every 10 sessions. A psychiatrist review is required at session 20).

    • Enhanced Primary Care Plan (EPCP): Up to 15 sessions (initial referral for 5 sessions, with a review at session 10).

  • What is the notice period for cancelling my appointment?

    • We kindly request a minimum of 48 hours (2 business days) notice for any appointment cancellations or changes to avoid a full fee charge.

    • As a small business, we are unable to offer exemptions for missed, forgotten, or cancelled appointments due to illness or other circumstances.

    What if I have an appointment on a Monday?

    • Please submit any rescheduling notifications by 9:00 AM on the day before the preceding business day (e.g., Friday for Monday appointments, Sunday for Tuesday, Monday for Wednesday, and so on)

    What happens if I don’t pay my invoice?

    • Failure to pay an invoice will lead to suspension, and if not rectified, a permanent ban from our services.
